New IMN Podcast and Tonic Ball
The new IMN podcast is up – download it or listen at the site or on WFYI HD2, Thursdays at 4pm.
Also, just a quick plug for tomorrow’s Tonic Ball – well, not so much a plug as some advice. The podcast and Top 10 list have it listed as the #1 show, and rightly so. It’s a huge event featuring some of the best musical talent Indianapolis (and now Nashville) has to offer, which means there are going to be huge crowds. So, the advice:
- Don’t worry, there will be plenty of parking, either in the bank lots or on the streets. You may have to walk a block or two, but you’ll be OK.
- If you’re looking for a pre-event dinner, get to the restaurants a little early. Plenty of people are thinking like you.
- If you want to spend a good deal of time in Radio Radio, GET THERE A LITTLE MORE EARLY. Seriously, it always packs out by 9 or so, and there’s a line out the door. One in, one out. It’ll be a bit crowded in the theater, too, but that has more room than the club. Consider yourself warned.

Two other ideas for tomorrow night:
1. Stop by the Tonic Gallery at AV Framing Gallery before the show to check out the poeces up for auction and maybe even bid on some of the awesome work.
2. Before heading to the Ball, stop to eat, shop or get your hair done at one of the lovely merchant sponsors – Calvin Fletcher Coffee, Samtorini’s, Biz on Fletcher, Luxor, Smokehouse on Shelby, Shelbi Street Cafe, Best Chocolate in Town, Swank, and Hero House Comics – who contribute 10% of their sales tomorrow to Second Helpongs!
