We spent most of last Thursday evening recording a rehearsal tape for a sub bass player (I’ll be in New Orleans for the Voodoo Music Festival - the trip was already booked when the gig came along) and taking promo photos for the press packet. The end of the month is busy with three gigs in close proximity - fezzes must appeal to the Halloween spirit.
The group has also added dancer/percussionists Betty and Veronica - they graced the stage at the IndyFringe festival show and have become permanent members that will also be at the upcoming shows. Indianapolis and Lafayette music lovers, take note and mark down the gigs on the front page or at the MySpace site.
And I’m going to drop the laptop for the Psychonauts and use more pedal effects - funky foot pedals just seem to fit the nature of this group. There are also some projects coming down the pike that call for more technology, so it’s sticking around.
