- I’m increasingly concerned about how to clean a fez. Last night’s show was a smoky and sweaty affair, and I have concern for the safety of both my bandmates and my browline.
- It’s a good thing to carry a spare 1/8″ to 1/4″ cable when working with laptop sound. My audio interface was acting up, and we had to run direct from the headphone jack. Sigh.
- The Vogue’s sound was great, but I kinda wanted a big SVT stack behind me because, you know, it was a big venue.
- Mucca Pazza sounded like a Trans-Siberian Frank Zappa Memorial Marching Band, and I mean that as high praise indeed.
- Hearing the Leisure Kings play “Widfire” en espanol was transcendent.
