If I manage to break out of the house this weekend, these are the places I’ll most likely check out. I’ll also probably venture into the new Maria’s Pizza location in the heart of Fountain Square and continue to mourn the lights out in Cognizant Coffee.

Radio Radio makes up for the recently canceled Cloud Cult show by bringing them back on Saturday, along with The Forms and Sisters. This show comes courtesy of My Old Kentucky Blog and the Monolith Festival.

Sam’s Saloon has Player/Kommander and J.J. Pearson tonight, with Lords, Prideswallower, Anapparatus, Llange and Whiskeytits Saturday night. Quick note - I think Llange might live at Sam’s Saloon now, given the frequency of their shows at the venue. Please bring them a housewarming gift.

tonight and Doris Davis on Saturday.

Big Car Gallery features the art and music of Nat Russell Saturday night.

Don’t forget about Swing Night at the Fountain Square Theater tonight, too. Early dance lessons, then exercise your skills later.
